Registration and Pledges
We Need Your Pledges!
Your pledges
will make this walk a success. Because we are a fully volunteer,
501(c)(3) charitable organization, we rely on the generosity of
GSD-lovers to fund our programs.
All proceeds
go directly to the care of our German Shepherd Dogs in foster
care, who were abandoned or left in shelters to await an
uncertain fate. They are given a thorough exam, receive
necessary medical treatment and are neutered/spayed,
immunized, parasite and heartworm tested.
We have a few
different ways you collect register and collect pledges.

We are very excited to announce
that we have teamed up with
FirstGiving
to provide online fundraising opportunities for our membership.
It is an
online fundraising company specifically designed to assist
nonprofit organizations.
How does this work?
Visit www.firstgiving.com/gsrne to sign up for your own free
account which will allow you
to create your own personalized fundraising web page. You
can then upload your own photos and write your own
inspirational messages concerning why you want to fundraise
for GSRNE.
Email
your page to friends & family or link it to other sites such
as your
Facebook or
MySpace
pages. Your friends and family can then make their donations
to you online with any major credit cards. All of the
donations come straight here to GSRNE - no need for you to
collect cash or checks!
We will check the amount that you
raised by midnight on October 1, 2009.
We are confident that this
will be an amazing way to save so much time and raise a lot
more money for our
German
Shepherds!
* Note: Firstgiving
subtracts a small transaction fee before sending the
donation to GSRNE

2009 Walk 'n' Wag pledge form for people who want to pledge using a
check or cash. Your sponsor sheet and
checks (no cash please) are due the day of the walk; please
bring to the registration table between 10–11am.

Your pledges must be
received by
September 15 in order for you to be eligible for the prizes
awarded to the top two donations collected.
If you cannot
attend our Walk 'n' Wag, there are many ways you can still help
and still be eligible for top fundraising prizes!
 Ask
your friends and family to sponsor you for NOT WALKING!
Organize
a group to walk together for you!
Donate
an item for the
Lucky Ticket Raffle!
Send your pledges to the

September 15 and you will be entered in the top
fundraising prizes contest!
What If I
Collect More Pledges after I have Pre-Registered?
Don't worry!
These pledges will also be
counted. On the day of the Walk, take them to the Registration
Table between 10 -11 am and these pledges will be added to
your pre-registered pledges. Your new amount will count toward
the Top Fundraiser Prizes.
Please
ask your family, friends and co-workers to sponsor you to walk
in the 2009 GSRNE Walk 'n' Wag! Remember, that
pledge donations are tax deductible as a charitable contribution!
